Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account (name, email address, password), make a payment, or contact us.

We collect information automatically when you use ShipClip: your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. We also collect the product URLs you submit for video generation.

When you connect Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

To provide and operate the ShipClip service — generating videos, storing your history, and managing your account.

To process payments and send receipts.

To send transactional emails (video ready notifications, account confirmations). You can opt out of non-transactional emails at any time.

To improve the product — we analyse aggregate usage patterns to understand what works and what doesn't.

To respond to support requests sent to hello@useshipclip.app.

ShipClip relies on the following third-party processors to deliver the service:

Supabase (supabase.com) — database, authentication, and file storage. Your account data and generated videos are stored on Supabase infrastructure.

Anthropic (anthropic.com) — AI text generation used to extract brand data and write video scripts. The content of URLs you submit may be sent to Anthropic's API.

Firecrawl (firecrawl.dev) — web scraping used to read the landing pages you submit.

AWS / Remotion Lambda — cloud compute used to render your video. Input data is processed ephemerally and not retained by AWS beyond the render job.

DodoPayments — payment processing. We do not store your card details; they are handled entirely by DodoPayments.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time from Settings → Danger zone, or by emailing hello@useshipclip.app.

Generated videos are stored in Supabase Storage and retained until you delete them or close your account.

Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations (typically 7 years).

ShipClip uses session cookies required for authentication. These are set by Supabase and are necessary for the service to function.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or analytics cookies from Google, Meta, or similar platforms.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time.

EU and UK residents have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@useshipclip.app. We will respond within 30 days.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

ShipClip is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.

Continued use of ShipClip after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
